Why Are You Not a Player Agency?

Writer: Rob Fisher Rob Fisher

Hello,

Many ask why we are not an agency or think we are one.

We are not a player agency because we would have to scout older, age-sellable players. The nonprofit model gives us the highest ceiling to help the most amount of overlooked kids and enlighten folks about "equal discovery opportunities," "closing the gaps," and "change." With that said, player agents (along with college coaches, domestic and international academies, Heads of Scouting, national teams, European clubs, and more) will have access to the database.

We believe in the collective—all football getting on board—and we need player agents as much as they need players (and as much as players need them). It is a joint effort to improve the lives of marginalized youth and bring awareness to their communities. So we work hand in hand and want thousands of eyes looking at that many kids across rural Africa. We cannot increase opportunities without player agents representing players and without coaches and everyone in between. So, as I wrote in a previous newsletter, "We are here, this is "now," and together, we can."

Thank you, as always—if you wish to donate, you may do so via the toolbar link.

We cannot change the world independently, but we will together.

Until next time.

Live forever,

Rob Fisher

Executive Director and Head of Scouting
