Who's Watching?

Writer: Rob Fisher Rob Fisher

Hello,

I was driving home the other day from scouting. I thought about how nobody else was there to witness this kid. My next thought was that reality is just that—reality, which is why I started Fisher Talent Group.

Fisher Talent Group cares. I say it constantly, but the proof is that we are *in* the community and *on* the sideline. We go *to* players and show that we believe in who they are and where they are from. By broadcasting them when others won't, we bring folks into "closing the gaps" and "equal discovery opportunities."

Being "good" at something and having nobody know it is tragic. When I scroll through social media and see football pages worldwide, the kids are playing on flat, grassy pitches with spotless boots, fitted jerseys, and beautiful environments, and many people are watching them. I note their smiles—and that they are happy because they are loved and believed in. Even in places deemed to have "less," they have more. With that said, out of all the above, it is not the fields, boots, or jerseys that matter most, but those watching. Being "seen" indicates belief—period. It tells kids everything they need to hear while sealing our "cracks" and connecting the world.

Promoting marginalized African youth football players shows the world what it never knew existed. Most importantly, it emphasizes our fundamental belief that people should be able to use their skills to advance their lives. This idea is critical to peace, harmony, and a better "tomorrow." It is about believing in each other's abilities and acknowledging that equal discovery opportunities are a pressing concern.

So please support us. If you have contributed monetarily or followed our socials, thank you. Please like, comment, and share our posts so others can see your support. It is easy to write off our mission if it "appears" nobody is with it. Additionally, we are continuing fundraising for our Videographer—so please consider a gift if you can. No words describe how much every contribution helps and how much we appreciate it. As always, we cannot change the world independently, but we will together.

Until next time.

Live forever,

Rob Fisher
