The Light

Hello,

The Grateful Dead wrote, "Once in a while, you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right."

I constantly repeat this idea because it is our mission. We are fostering a collective movement to see the "light" in overlooked kids. Our motivation is that we know that talent buries in countless African pockets that need adding to a map, and looking in the "strangest of places" is only "strange" to the outside world because they are unknown and unfamiliar. Reiterating this is as crucial as discovering and promoting because it is "why" we do it—to get folks to believe in themselves and others.

This idea will change the world if we emphatically pursue it. Over time, we will be individually happier, collectively more inclusive, and, ultimately, unified by a world that believes in talent and enables us to use it to advance our lives. I think this to my core, and I hope you do, too.

Thank you, as always—if you wish to donate, you may do so via the toolbar link. We cannot change the world independently, but we will together.

Until next time.

Live forever,

Rob Fisher
