Hello,
I saw a man, Muzi, as I was driving to the grocery store a couple of weeks ago. He shouted, "Rob!" I stopped, and we spoke. Muzi was among the first people I connected with when I arrived in Eswatini. We bonded over football, and he joined me with youth coaches in the community.
It is laughable to say that building Fisher Talent Group has been easy (I started it three years ago and moved to Eswatini in May, and things have been challenging). However, many people—like Muzi—are why we are moving forward. Nothing worth doing is effortless, and generating "change" certainly is not.
So, I am thanking everyone for supporting me in Eswatini. Fisher Talent Group and I are with you and will change football. Our database is unique, necessary, and transformative (as I say), and for all the folks of this beautiful country and across Africa who know "where the talent is," we will—in time—show the world. We will bring folks into "closing the gaps" and "equal discovery opportunities." I mean it when I say "change"—because this idea is straightforward and doable.
So, thank you again, Eswatini. Thank you to those helping us tap into rural communities, connecting us with youth coaches, and spreading our mission—Fisher Talent Group "works" because of you. We cannot change the world independently, but we will together.
Until next time.
Live forever,
Rob Fisher
