Hello,
I want to touch on a fundamental aspect of Fisher Talent Group: our scouting methodology. I am building an Eswatini network by connecting with the grassroots, local football community and going *to* players.
I cannot stress it enough, but what distinguishes Fisher Talent Group is that we discover talent *in* the community. We do not hold tryouts or similar events, forcing players to come to us.
Various moving parts make those ineffective, including players paying to travel, being unable to attend because of distance, having prior commitments, identifying talent in an unrealistic setting, etc.
You might recognize a few talented athletes at a tryout, showcase, etc. However, it will never amount to what you gain from rooting contacts in rural communities and assessing talent in its environment.
You will only understand marginalized athletes if you work to go *to* the player. You will learn about their surroundings, how they identify in their team, and countless critical aspects of their skillset and progression needs. Yes, Fisher Talent Group's methodology is slower and rooted in tracking. However, we discover more talent long-term and, most importantly, develop comprehensive profiles to help others believe in our discovered players.
Implementing this scouting process is critical to bringing others into the idea of being "marginalized" and solidifying their belief in our mission. This commitment is how we will change football and promote equality.
As always, please donate to our cause. We value all gifts on our path to forty-thousand dollars to hire folks, expand, and give marginalized kids the discovery opportunities they deserve. You may also purchase merchandise from The Soul Store, where we invest one hundred percent of the proceeds into Fisher Talent Group. We cannot change the world independently, but we will together.
Until next time.
Live forever,
Rob Fisher
