"Hitting home."

Writer: Rob Fisher Rob Fisher

Hello,

As you know, Fisher Talent Group believes in talent "beyond borders, lines, and dirt roads."

This phrase leads to "Talent is around the corner," which leads to "Boots on the ground," which reveals "Where the talent is."

Ultimately, we "Find the pitch" and state, "Traveling to overlooked locations is our mission, and discovering marginalized talent is our impact."

I repeat these phrases because it is how we "hit home" our mission. They are what we stand for, represent, and believe. These taglines recite incessantly to bring others into our work and frame our actions. Fisher Talent Group cannot achieve its vision through inconsistency—we must passionately promote our beliefs and do it constantly.

I was talking with someone recently about how every time I scout rural areas, I see "pain" in each child's eyes. I do not dramatize it but mention it to depict the world of the kids we scout. I post our photos with their phrases because it is heartbreaking that such talent is unidentified and ignored. The players feel it, and it is obvious.

Life is short. Our mission is precise enough to believe it can change things, and part of seeing it through is repeating our beliefs regularly. Over time, we will "hit home" our ideas and resonate with others because they are fundamental. Reiterating them is how we reveal the tragedy I see daily and encourage people to stand with us.

As always, please support our work. You may donate, purchase merchandise from The Soul Store, or follow our socials—we sincerely appreciate everything, and you give us the tools to carry on. We cannot change the world independently, but we will together.

Until next time.

Live forever,

Rob Fisher
