Generating "Change"

Hello,

I was thinking the other day about how you only generate "change" by telling the truth. I have repeatedly said that "helping" and "changing" differ. At Fisher Talent Group, our goal is the latter. Everything we do—from social media to our newsletter to our youth talent database—tells the truth.

The man in this week's photo is Mncedisi Maseko—he coaches a U13 and U15 team, Macembe Youngsters Football Club. They base out of Kaluhleko, Eswatini, in the Manzini region.

He reached out to me about scouting. So I attended his training and am grateful. Macembe Youngsters F.C. is talented. Mncedisi started it by coaching a handful of boys. Then, more came. There is "quality" in his group, and he embodies, "We cannot change the world independently, but we will together."

Fisher Talent Group went *to* his team and discovered their talent *in* the community. The truth is that there are talented kids in Kaluhleko, and nobody knows—this is the reality for countless communities across rural Africa.

By spotlighting the vast amount of unknown talent, Fisher Talent Group forges "change." We have discovered fifty players between ten to fifteen years old in two months and are adding weekly. The next step is onboarding a Videographer and publishing our database online.

We can begin filming players and creating highlight packages now. Paired with written reports, these "documents" will comprise each player's "profile." Once established, we can grant access to our list of global football contacts and unfold.

As donations increase, we will onboard an Eswatini Scouting Manager and fund our scouting network. Not only are we developing a youth talent database, but we are providing jobs to folks in need. We aim to establish a scouting operation in every African country and discover thousands of marginalized youth while providing employment.

We do not sponsor teams, combine an academy with scouting, or personally manage moves to better opportunities. However, we do have (in time) the world's most significant database of marginalized African youth football talent. When I talk to Swazis or anyone across Africa, there is a consensus that what we do is unique, necessary, and transformative. We cannot go in circles if we want "change."

There are numerous gifted players with Macembe Youngsters F.C. Kaluhleko is one of the countless overlooked locations filled with talented athletes in Eswatini and beyond. If you donate to our cause, we will continue giving these kids the discovery opportunities they deserve and pay our Videographer, fund equipment, and grow. Every bit supports our ability to generate "change."

As always, we sincerely appreciate anyone and everyone who donates or supports us in any way—we are beyond grateful and would not exist without you. We cannot change the world independently, but we will together.

Until next time.

Live forever,

Rob Fisher
