Hello,
Sometimes folks see Fisher Talent Group as an "adventure." However, you need to know about our daily exertion.
When I wrote our Business Plan three years ago, I mentioned scouting being a "trenches job." I said it sustains "by a relentless commitment to a constantly evolving process."
To discover marginalized African youth talent, you must understand that "pounding the pavement" is how it accomplishes. Equally, it is helpful to understand the daily changing nuances—everything from writing reports, managing a scouting schedule, and tracking talent—these things shift constantly. Elements like maneuvering in and out of rural communities, rooting and re-rooting contacts, liking a player at training, going to assess him in a game to find out that he is absent or switched teams or is struggling to attend for various reasons, to filming to promotion to everything in between is an undertaking. Most demanding is gluing it together to illustrate our impact so others can stand with us. Discovering marginalized African youth is a grind that bends, turns, and forces adjustment. I mention this fact to depict how much "overlooked" players need our help and how much Fisher Talent Group needs yours.
At our organization, we embrace challenges and know they are perpetual. However, you can make them more manageable. I mean it when I say, "We cannot change the world independently, but we will together." Everything from donating to following our socials to liking, commenting, and sharing our content is helpful and greatly appreciated.
Most importantly, demonstrating public support for us is highly treasured. Minor details like "liking" our Instagram and Facebook posts show that others are with us. When people come to our page and see folks appreciating the content, it inspires them to do the same. Standing with us in a way people can see publicly is never something Fisher Talent Group takes for granted, and it strengthens our promotion. From a technical standpoint, it encourages social media to boost our content.
As Fisher Talent Group grows, we could not be more appreciative of anyone and everyone who generously donates or supports us in another way. Your charitable options are endless, so we are eternally grateful, and you are our backbone. As always, we cannot change the world independently, but we will together.
Until next time.
Live forever,
Rob Fisher
Executive Director and Head of Scouting
